Contents page final:
This is my final conetnts page for my oldschool R&B magzine whihc I think has taken a long time to edit and get right but it final looks very good. I hvae done many drafts to get the contents page up to what it looks like now by moving things around and adding new images to the page to mkae it fit into the magzine homestyling. I think the colour scheme and the images put on the page would appeal a lot to my traget audience as they follow what was said in my questionanire so I have taken there advice and made it so it realtes and becomes popular to my target market which I think will help boost my contents page up and make it stand out.

For my final front cover I have taken the advice that my audience have given me and made a front cover that will appeal to my target audeince by using my questionanire to get the best possible answers. Throughout making my front cover I have done many draft changing it and improving the front cover to mkae it the best it can possible be by reording things and changing words to mkae them fit the criteria and overall I have ended up with this final product whihc I think is very well done, as it meets the audeince standards to what they will be lookikng for in my magzine.

This is getting there Dan but you need to make the main story more obvious in terms of where you place the text- maybe over the image slightly?

Your title is much better, far mor appropriate for music. I no longer feel that I have to look in the antique furniture section for it!

Name and logo

I have decided to change my name and logo for my magzine cover as I dont think taht "antique" would be very suitable for my type of magazine as it could be misread by the target market as it could be a actually antique magzine, so I wouldnt want my target market to be getting confused with the title of my magzine. So instead I have changed it to "Vinatge" the reason for chosen the word vintage is that it means old something that has been forgotten and is vaulable which I think links in well with my magzine and is my suited compared to my old title.

Colour schemes:

Colour schemes: I have realted this colour scheme process to the queationanire that I did at the start where I asked people what colours they perfere to see on a music maazgine and I have simply took the most favrouite colours and tryed different combination to see what looks the best out of the colour schemes.
Colour scheme 1:

The colour scheme whihc I have tried out first I think is very good for the type of magzine which I am creating as the colours have some strong contrast with the red and the black to make certian parts of the magzine stand out such as the tile maybe or indviduale words to cath the readers eye. The colour red is accated with love and aggresion which will work both with either gender and the two colours black and grey complement each other very well why I ahve chosen them.

Colour scheme 2:

This particular colour scheme I also like as the purple I think was a main colour back in the year when R&B first came out whihc will link in well with the audeince and the target market. But it only really suits the gender for women as purple inst a colour whihc asccoiates well with the male side as I will want to be aiming it at both genders not just the one. So I thinbk I will think about using this colour scheme for the final design.

Colour scheme 3:

This last colour scheme I think will work well with the audeince ast the colours all complment each other well it links in well with both genders whihc Im trying to attract to read the magzine I think the black and white can show strong contrast along with black and blue whihc can make certain parts of the magzine stand out such as captions or even a pug if there is one on there. I think this colours scheme is very suited to my magzine and will think about using it for my final design.

Hmm. I agree with Miss Dolby...not sure your magazine would be put in the right section of the magazine rack, it might end up with antiques and collectables:)

Logos

The is the colour scheme which I would try for my magazine cover I thought of having a gray background which would contrast on to the black font whihc makes the logo stand out and become visible whihc I would want to attract the viewers attention by doing, I have also put the worldwide music font in purple as it contrasts well with the other two colours and comes forward when you see the font which also makes it more of a eye cathcing nand pappealing font to look at the colour scheme I think for this name and logo suit my magazine well and link in well and the colours are sutell.

I the thought I would try this colour scheme for the name and logo as it is different and has a strong contrast of colour bewteen the back and the blue whihc makes the logo stand out more and can be seen from far away. The light blue comes forward and the black recedes when you look at the logo which isnt very good as you would want it the other way round with the blue receding and the black coming forward. I dont think these colours would suit the type of music magzine im doing and they are to vibrant so I dont think I would be picking this colour scheme for my logo for the magazine.

I think that the colours that are used within this name and logo are very
good and eye catching I think that the blue is very appealing and stands out well on any particluar background which makes it a prime colour to use for the magzine which would work well with attracting attention and making the magzine being noticeted I also think that the shadow adds to the effect of the magzine and the title and gives it that class effect whick I think suits the magzine, I thinkI will consider using this colour scheme in my final design for my magzines.

Then the final colour scheme for the name and logos is also another one that attracts attention and also I think the colours interact and stand out I think the red and black work well with each other when next to each other whiohc make the black logo stand out and becomes recognized. But I think that the crown should be in all black without the gold edge around it which I dont think really suits the colur scheme and doesnt blend in well with the colours, but I will most difeantly think about using this colour scheme for my final design .

Dan- I'm not too sure that the title works as it doesn't really have any reference to music although I see the reasons for your choice. Why don't you come up with a few different titles and get some audience feedback as to which they like rather than just picking a definate one now.
